Heidi Gregory

Despite the fact that I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, I am a Texan.  I came to Texas in the mid 90's, transferring from Tokyo, Japan.  I went to school at Texas Tech University and returned to Houston to dabble in work and eventually meet my husband, who in turn, whisked me away to a small Texas town to start a family and a new journey of cattle ranching, rice farming, and restauranteering.

I started taking riding lessons at a local barn at the beginning of the pandemic and found that my love for horses bloomed into an addiction!  This is when I was introduced to the American Saddlebred.  I currently have two Saddlebreds, which I compete with my mare in the world of dressage and my gelding in harness with Bluebonnet Farms.

When I am not at the barn, you can find me in my studio throwing clay.  I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family, drinking fine wine, and enjoying fine food.
